A weekly, facilitated interactive workshop for people who wish to deepen their encounter with nature as a path of self-transformation. We will be drawing on the western esoteric tradition and our own intuitive guidance to open ourselves to nature‚s yearly cycle and the mysteries of life.
We will be using artistic practice to explore alternative forms of experience, and we‚ll also have a basic laboratory facility in which we can do some simple alchemical experiments.
No previous experience or knowledge is necessary, just a will and commitment to learn and transform through an encounter with the greatest teacher of all.

Due to the rational structure of language our culture uses to deal with the Earth and nature, many layers of reality are now invisible and inaccessible to human beings. Marko teaches a modern form of geomancy, a holistic language through which it is possible to communicate with places, landscapes, beings of nature and spiritual realms.

A new world arises. It is a joy to become part of it. The course focuses on cosmogrammes, intuitive drawings of elemental and angelic forces. Different places around Hawkwood will be explored and experienced. Participants will then be free to choose one of them and to create a cosmogramme to meet a specific need of that place. The capacity learned can be later used to balance energy in other places and situations. This course serves as a necessary introduction for Carving Cosmogrammes.

Marko Pogacnik is a Slovenian artist, sculptor and geomancer, who developed “earth lithopuncture” aimed at healing disturbed landscapes and power points. He is a lecturer at the Hagia Chora School of Geomancy and leads seminars in earth healing. He has written many books about the healing of the earth and humanity.

Marko and his wife Marika will be teaching the special process of stone carving that they have developed to make the carved message accessible not just to human beings. To be perceived by elemental and angelic consciousness, besides the physical the etheric form should also be created consciously.
Each participant will have the chance to decide for which part of the landscape he or she will develop a corresponding cosmogramme and then carve it upon a stone pillar. If they choose to leave their work at Hawkwood, it would become a part of the Hawkwood’s cultural and spiritual heritage. There will also be the option of working on a smaller piece to take home. This preference should be indicated when booking, as stones will be ordered in advance.
To be able to participate at the course, the participants need to have done “The Language of the Cosmogrammes” course at Hawkwood in 2007 or 2008. Number of participants is limited to 20. Please bring clothing and footwear for all weathers and for working with stone.
