London Geopuncture Circle
In cooperation with Marko Pogacnik we are currently working on an Earth accupunture project in London with the title Geaculture - creating a society in resonance with all aspects of the earth and the cosmos. This is an international arts project. The London Geopuncture circle will evolve through the interplay of design, group intention and communication with nature. This act of creating art for a positive change as a community endeavour, will nurture the earth’s transformation and support all those individuals, groups and associations who are interested or already engaged in evolving synergy with the earth and the universe.

We are preparing to make it all happen in August 2011! Presently we are researching possible sites and funding options.

  Background
Geaculture-creating a society in resonance with all
aspects of the earth and the cosmos
Climate change, natural disasters and finite natural resources have shown that our relationship with the earth is in crisis. Our current situation demonstrates that economic growth, technical advances and maximising profits at all cost have ceased to give positive support to life.
There is no need to fear. By opening communication and raising our awareness we can form a mutually supportive relationship with the earth. The first step in this is to recognise that the earth, in addition to its geological formation, has a life body, like a human being. This consists, for example, of energy points similar to our chakras and connecting meridians, sometimes called ley lines. On the emotional level, there is the interplay and balance of the elements, earth, air, fire and water. We can perceive the earth as a living being, known as Gaia or Gea with whom we interact consciously or subconsciously. Geaculture is a vision of society in resonance with all dimensions of the earth and the cosmos. Supporting the multi-dimsional changes the earth is going through, Geaculture opens a conversation with nature.
To promote the idea of Geaculture, the Earth Energy Network has initiated a public arts project for London, being a significant cultural and economic centre.
The Earth Energy Network is planning to create a stone circle featuring carved signs called cosmogrammes. This is based upon the art of earth acupuncture or Geopuncture, which has been developed by the Slovenian artist and author Marko Pogacnik (www.markopogacnik.com).
The London circle forms part of a world-wide arts project to develop a dialogue with the earth. Geopuncture circles already exist in Portugal, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Canary Islands, USA and Slovenia. For details of the circle in Ljubljana ‘The Hologram of Europe’, please visit www.hologrameurope.net.
Under the title ‘Geaculture - creating a society in resonance with all aspects of the earth and the cosmos’, Marko Pogacnik will collaborate with the Earth Energy Network in this project. Using a creative and holistic approach, an international group of artists will develop unique cosmogrammes to represent fields of society, such as economy, technology, art, agriculture and medicine.
The London Gepuncture circle will evolve through the interplay of design, group intention and communication with nature. This act of creating art for a positive change as a community endeavour, will nurture the earth’s transformation and support all those individuals, groups and associations who are interested or already engaged in evolving synergy with the earth and the universe.

  London's Geomantic System
London-a water city
Excerpt of 'Venedig-Spiegel der Erdseele', by Marko Pogacnik, AT Verlag, Baden und Muenchen 2009
Many famous cities on Earth are linked intimately with the element of water. In Venice, it is impossible to miss the watery quality of the cityscape. Some Cities have cut themselves off their rivers through flood defence measures, and consequently the presence of water is hardly noticeable. In this way London has also compromised its connection with the Thames.
Preparing a workshop there in Spring 2008 on the theme ‘The soul of London’, my intuition showed me how important the river is for this city by leading me straight to the Thames. Looking at the map of London already gives a hint that the mighty river is likely to be the key to the soul of the city. In central London, the course of the Thames makes a gesture that is completely symmetrical, similar to the shape of the Canal Grande in Venice. The Canal Grande describes a reversed S-shape, and, in contrast, the Thames shows a correct S. However, its meanders are less extreme. Corresponding with the watercourses’ similar shapes, the power centres in London compare with Venice and are also located at the beginning and end of the river Thames’s double bend. In Venice, the Canal Grande’s root chakra at the fish’s mouth penetrates the Earth deeply and is represented by the Island Santa Chiara. In London, the place where the peace pagoda is located in Battersea Park fulfils the function to charge the river’s energy channel with the soul qualities of the Earth. From there, the Soul of London (as a fractal of the Earth soul) is imbued with the qualities and power of the river Thames. Despite being overlaid with a mighty castle, the Tower of London, the river Thames uses this area for its energetic connection with cosmic forces. This corresponds to the Canal Grande flowing into the St Mark’s basin. This kind of suppression is also present in Venice, not at the latter point but at Santa Chiara, the seat of the police.

The Rialto Bridge gives the Canal Grande a clear centre, which is the anchoring point for Venice’s pyramid of light. Does London also have a centre at the river’s double bend? Yes, however, it has different characteristics: the function of the Chakra there is similar to the throat chakra of a human being. Its energy field stretches from St James’ Park to the West up to Temple Church on the former Templar site to the East. It has two centres at the river’s bend: the watery Yin pole is located on the left bank, the fiery Yang pole on the right bank. From the left bank the three channels of soul presence wind their way through the Citscape of Central London. Running from Westminster Abbey through St. James’ Park, Green Park, Kensington Gardens and Holland Park, the Hara channel is the most pronounced. Its course is similar to the Hara channel in Rome, which runs from Villa Borghese in the direction to the church Trinita dei Monti and the Trevi fountain. In London, the Hara channel originates at the former river island in Westminster. This was formed originally by the delta of the river Tyburn, which has now been culverted, almost along its entire course. London’s three most important sites, Westminster Abbey, the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben are all located on this former island, which still exists etherically.
Focused between two giant plane trees, It is possible to sense the Hologram of the Hara channel between the apse of Westminster Cathedral and the main entrance to the Houses of Parliament. In front of them is a stone monument of King George VI, the predecessor of Queen Elisabeth II. The tail of this cape reaches strikingly far behind the King’s back as if he would like to embody the source of primal force behind his back.
The parks associated with the Hara Channel follow the meandering River Tyburn, which is still visible in some artfully designed ponds. The most beautiful phenomena along the Hara-channel is the Princess Diana Memorial. Surrounded by Hyde Park, it is a loop of 545 delicately shaped blocks of granite in which the water flows in different rhythms around a circle. Surprisingly, this rhythm is similar to the cosmogramme I created for Princess Diana in 1999 for the book “The Celestial Voice of Diana”. After Diana had passed over, the book was channelled by the Norwegian clairvoyant Rita Eide. The publisher then asked me to design a cosmogramme for the cover. When I put my hand above the photograph of the Princess, signs began to dance rhythmically on her forehead, and I developed her Cosmomogramme based on these signs, which I now recognised in the playing of the water. In my opinion, Diana’s ring of water has become a focus of transformed Earth forces in geomantic terms – similar to the island Olivolo in Venice. With this, I am referring to the forces and entities the Earth soul has manifested in the last decade to counteract the possible ecological destruction of the Earth and to commence a new phase of planetary evolution.
The heart channel lies in the centre of London’s three soul channels and connects to the Thames’s force at Charing Cross, a highly dynamic and densely built up part of London. The heart quality of the Earth soul resonates northwards from there towards the parks of Primrose Hill, Regent’s Park and Queen Mary’s Gardens. I perceive the heart centre at Primrose Hill as an expression of the elementary heart of the Earth – equivalent to Basilica Salute in Venice. At Regent’s Park, however, I have located a heart centre imbued with vital energy-similar to Basilica San Giorgio Maggiore. Pulsing at the centre of Queen Mary’s Gardens, the energetic quality resembles the cosmic heart centre of St Mark’s Basilica.
The channel of the third eye, the highest of the three soul channels, presents itself as a triangle spanning across the Thames. The functions of two polarised points at the Thames’ left bank are reminiscent of the light pyramid in Venice: the hill on which St. Paul’s Cathedral stands hold the connection to the cosmic forces and thus enables them to unfold on Earth – similar to the upper light pyramid in Venice. In contrast, the dome at Temple Church holds the connection to the Earth’s centre and therefore grounds the cosmic forces in the holon of the Earth, which compares to the lower light pyramid of Venice. The third point of the triangle is located at the opposite bank, in front of the Tate Modern, London’s gallery of modern art. This point balances the two opposites, equivalent to the light axis at the Rialto Bridge in Venice.
Following the S-form of the Thames we now get to the point which compares with St Mark’s Bay, As mentioned earlier, this highly import place is dominated by a mighty medieval castle. The former holy mound of Tower Hill could have played a similar role as the radiating St Mark’s Bay. In both cases, this is the place where the Earth soul ascends to the cosmos. At the source of the cities’ beings, at the peace pagoda in Battersea Park or at the island Santa Chiara in Venice, the impulse of the Earth soul rises from the core of the planet and unifies with the rivers, the Thames or the double meander of the Canal Grande. Downstream the presence of the Earth soul works jointly with the forces of the water courses through the organisms of the respective cities.
In the third phase (at Tower Hill or at St Mark’s Bay) the Earth soul spreads its wings to unify with the entity that exists on a higher level, that could be called the soul of the solar system.
